Our standard: communication should be expected, relevant and easy to leave. A professional email address alone is not permission to send a newsletter.
1. The Collective Note
The Collective Note is an optional publication about supplier questions, product information and practical recordkeeping for pet food professionals. Its planned frequency is no more than one issue per month.
The publication is marketing communication. It is separate from account verification, requested access recovery and individual support replies.
2. Clear permission
Our publication standard requires a person's own request, an explicit opt-in and confirmation of their email address before a newsletter is sent. A consent checkbox must be unselected by default and clearly explain the topic and frequency.
Registration, acceptance of terms and a support enquiry do not automatically provide newsletter consent. We do not buy, rent or scrape mailing lists, use third-party lists, or carry out automated cold outreach.
3. Website interactions
The on-page forms handle entries within your browser. They do not create subscription or account records or send email. Their acknowledgements are not evidence of enrolment or of a stored preference change. The Privacy Policy describes this behaviour.
Before real subscriptions are processed, address confirmation, records of permission, a working unsubscribe process and the relevant privacy information must be in place.
4. Requested messages
Account-related messages, where enabled, are limited to user-requested verification, access recovery and necessary service notices. Those messages do not add a recipient to marketing. An email sent directly to Mason Reed may receive an individual reply about the enquiry.
5. Choice and delivery standards
Every newsletter must identify Canine Nutrition Collective, link to the Privacy Policy and include a clear unsubscribe link that works without signing in. Opt-out requests must be honoured without undue delay.
Before automated sending begins, sender authentication, form-abuse protection, bounce handling and spam-complaint handling must be configured. Sending must respect applicable suppression records and documented permission.
6. Contact and preferences
For questions about correspondence, a request not to be contacted or a concern about messages using our name, contact mason@dograwfood.info. Our email preferences page also provides this contact.
